Panel Discussion

Saturday, May 15, 2010; 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Join us at The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by Automobile Club of Southern California for an intimate panel discussion on the extraordinary life of motorsports legend Mickey Thompson. The panelists include Mickey’s son Danny Thompson, Danny's mother Judy Thompson Creach, business partner Alex Xydias, fabricator Tom Jobe of Surfer’s Top Fuel Dragster fame, and Gale Banks of Gale Banks Engineering. Panelists will retell the tales of working side-by-side with one of motorsport history’s most memorable people. Discussion will be moderated by the legendary voice of NHRA Dave McClelland. After the interview, the panelists will take questions from the audience and sign autographs. The panel discussion is held in conjunction with the newly opened exhibit at the Museum celebrating the 50th anniversary of Mickey’s milestone run at Bonneville – Mickey Thompson: First American to 400 mph presented by Banks Power.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door, or reserve a seat by calling the Museum at 909-622-2133. Ticket purchase includes Museum admission and light refreshments.
